Touchstone Climbing is dedicated to creating a safe enviroment for all participants at our facilities. Taking the time and energy to learn safe climbing and belaying techniques will improve both your experience and the experiences of others. To this end, we remind everyone that they must actively assume responsibility for their own actions and work to assist others to follow proper protocol while climbing and belaying.
Personal Responsibility. Participants are informed that rock climbing - and lead climbing in particular - does involve risk and that all climbers and belayers must be willing to take personal responsibility for their own safety as well as that of their partner.
Each participant - or if the participant is under 18 years of age, the guardian of that participant - must sign a liability waiver and pass a belay test before they are allowed to climb. You may print a copy of our waiver or pick up a copy in the gym. To print the online version, you will need the free Adobe Reader
