INTRO TO CLIMBING PLUS - 2 hours
Introducing a whole NEW way to learn to climb at Pipeworks !
The ICC PLUS is designed for those who are interested in learning basic safety and climbing technique at the same time. In this 2 hour class you'll learn how to secure your harness, tie in as a climber and belay your partner.
Once you've mastered these fundamentals, your instructor will stick around to teach you techniques that will help you climb longer and stronger. They'll cover hold recognition, body positioning, footwork and more. Climbing becomes easier as soon as you learn the tricks and tips that are too often overlooked by novice climbers. INTRO TO CLIMBING - 1 hour
(Walk-in registration daily)
In this daily class you'll get the basics and become a self sufficient gym climber with one of our passionate and knowledgeable staff members. You'll learn how to tie in as a climber, as well as how to belay safely for your partner. With an emphasis on personal responsibility and the safety checks that we require at all our gyms, this class is highly recommended for first timers as well as a helpful refresher if it's been a while since you belayed with an ATC. The cost includes all necessary rental gear, an hour of instruction, and a day pass to the gym so you and your friends can practice your new skills for the rest of the day.

INTRO TO BOULDERING
This is a great clinic taught once a month by desk staffer and boulderer extraordinaire Ryan. In this small group class, you'll go over techniques and tips that will make climbing boulder problems easier. It's also a great chance to learn basic movement and climbing lingo if you are new to climbing in general. This class is a great way for you to get small group instruction and see immediate improvements.
INTRO TO LEADING
Ready to take your climbing to the next level? Lead climbing is an exciting and challenging way to push yourself both mentally and physically as a climber. In this hands on class that is capped at 6 participants, you'll learn about proper footwork, rope management, efficient climbing techniques. The instructor will also teach safe lead belaying techniques and all participants will have the chance to take and catch a lead fall. While this class is not required, it is a highly encouraged starting point to practicing for your lead test in our gyms. Participants of all climbing abilities may join, but we recommend that you can comfortably climb 5.10b and already have a permanent top rope belay card.

This is the class for early birds who want to get fit and still get to work on time. Get a cardio work out while strengthening specific muscle groups to make you better, faster, stronger.
Enjoy a pilates class suited to all levels. You'll get a great workout with pliometric workout using your own body to create resistance while incorporating stretching to develop long lean muscles.
This is an introductory level Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, for participants from 0 to 1 year of experience. Come learn the fundamentals of the art: submissions, defense, positioning, and strategy. Each session will provide a warm-up and stretch, technique instruction, and short sparring sessions for experienced participants (“experienced” means you’ve been to a few classes and have gained basic understanding)The class size is limited due to available mat space, so it’s first come first serve.\
Heck. Yes. Belly dancing is a great core work out and a fun and empowering chance to shake those hips! Get a get work out without even knowing it!
CrossFit Pipeworks offers over 30 classes each week to our members and guests. Every movement and each workout is carefully designed to be progressive and modifiable for athletes from the novice to elite level. If you have never practiced CrossFit, we ask that you attend 10 "onramp" classes to familiarize yourself with the exercises. These classes are designed for the beginning CrossFit athlete, and are required to participate in our full schedule. There are 1-2 onramp classes per day, offered 6 days a week, so we make it very easy to get started. Make your time in the gym count for more than a good sweat by building strength, speed, and increased work capacity. Learn Olympic-style weightlifting, power-lifting, basic gymnastics, and never get bored working out again!
