Marie Garringer
Fitness is my passion! I've been involved in the fitness industry for as long as I can remember! After 25 plus years instructing group fitness classes, personal training and managing a health club, I was ready for a change and challenge! I began working with Touchstone over 3-1/2 years ago and absolutely love it! When not at the gym, or working out at the gym, I enjoy spending time with my family cruising around in our boat, biking, hiking.....pretty much anything where I'm outdoors and in the sun, and now climbing! I've come to really enjoy the climbing and love the challenge! Before Touchstone, I had never climbed before or been in a climbing gym. I was intrigued by the challenge of doing something different since I was bored stiff in a fitness/health club environment! This couldn't be a better fit and I'm so happy to have found a place where I can inspire people to get healthy in so many different ways.

Josie I am Native to Bishop, CA, so I was raised hiking and skiing in the Eastern Sierras. I am currently attending Fresno State where I'm studying nutrition and wish everyone would eat five servings of fruits and vegetables a day. I may be new to climbing, but I'm eager to learn some new skills in the gym and take them outside. On my time off, you can find me riding my bike, swimming laps or guiding the white water on the Kings River. I also have rather large triceps, so watch out
	Trent Yo yo I’m Trent, the pizza guy. I’m from Tehachapi where I fell in love with the mountains and decided to hit up Fresno State to learn about the Earth and Environmental Sciences. Forest Gump is my hero because all I want to do is run! I was introduced to climbing two years ago and haven’t been able to stop since. It’s an addiction that I’m able to admit to. When I’m not running, climbing, or pretending to study I’m probably guiding on the Kings River.
Daniel Before I started climbing, I didn’t get the point; just a bunch of skinny dudes slapping the top of a man made rock at an indoor gym. What could be so hard about that? Interested, I bought the cheapest pair of shoes online and tried it out, and after my first attempt (and failure) on a V0, the point became clear to me, and I was hooked. I love the climbing scene in Fresno, everyone is very supportive of whatever you are doing, but there is always a slightly competitive side that keeps you on your toes too. My first pair of climbing shoes was the best investment I have ever made.
	KEVIN I started climbing when I was 14. I love bouldering especially in Yosemite (although I hate mosquitos!) Rock climbing is the coolest outdoor sport. Everything else is for chumps.
Ryan I'm a recent transplant from the Bay Area. I moved to Fresno for paramedic school and am trying to be a flight-medic/search and rescuer on a helicopter. I've been climbing for about eight years on and off. When I'm not studying or climbing, I'll probably be rooting for the San Francisco Giants or enjoying a cold micro-brew! I love pizza, photography, beer, baseball, climbing, motorcycles and camping. I hate cheese and cotton balls
	Lexie I'm a Fresno native! Born and raised in this strange part of the world between the ocean and the mountains where very little happens aside from planning trips to the outdoors. Backpacking and climbing are what I'm all about. From watching the sunrise atop the domed peak of Mt. Whitney, to jamming with my trusty ukulele by a peaceful backcountry lake, if it's outdoors and away from civilization, I'm there. But if I can't be there, I'll be here at Metalmark! The rest of the time you can find me wrestling with koalas and black bears and teaching chumps how not to be chumps. I'm super stoked to be a part of this team, so come get your climb on!
Riley Riley graduated from a school in New Hampshire where he fell for Climbing. Returning home to Clovis, California as newlyweds, Riley and Climbing spend their days talking in movie quotes, slurping milkshakes, and getting lost in the woods.
